I have never been more excited for Fall and Winter than I am now! For whatever reason, (either a side effect of my injury, or hormones, or just the intense heat of the summer...or a combination thereof), I spent the summer in a puddle of sweat! So as the weather has cooled drastically, I have actually welcomed being COLD! I
WANT to wear sweatshirts, and wrap up in a Fuzzy blanket, and drink hot chocolate, and sit by the fire...
The irony in this is that I usually don't like being cold because it takes me forEVER to warm up. If the temp in the house drops below 70 ( in the winter), I tell Cole it's way too cold! But today when I got up to send the kids to school, it was 65 and I was feeling great! Cole keeps telling me it's menopause, but c'mon~ I'm only 35! OK...36 next month, but still...
So for those of you whining about the cold coming...WAAAA! Just turn up the heat in your own house!
Now in memoriam of the fun we had this summer, despite the heat, I'm posting a slide show of the Stephens Family Adventures... Enjoy the show!

You know me, I hate the heat and the snow! I live in the wrong state. I could be happy for the rest of my life to have this entire weeks weather for the whole year! Long live the mid 70s
Abby Stephens!! It's been years since we've lived in Layton, and here you are... in blogger world! What a beautiful family you have. Two more children since we last lived by you! It looks like everything is wonderful with your family! Your blog is wonderful!
I can't believe how big your kids are!!! leave me your e-amil and I will send you an invite to our family blog kim.jon@hotmail.com. So good to hear from you. Funny I should hear from you today cause I heard a country song this morning by Bucky Cuvington called I'll walk. It reminded me of you and I had to sit in the car and listen to the whole thing. I still look up to you so much!
