Christmas Break!

We had a GREAT time over the Holidays! This is Kar and Lex after one of the first good snowfalls back in December. They LOVE to play in the snow, and I'm so glad they have each other to play with. They're best little friends (most of the time) and I love it!
This is their new Sunday clothes...it took about 45 min. to get them to cooperate long enough to take a picture!
New Jammies!
Christmas morning... the girls all got Little Pet Shop Playsets and Caleb got a lump of coal! We played a trick on him after "Santa" left, we wrapped his plane, and set out a lump of coal that said, "Be Nice Next Year!" He was trying so hard to hold back tears, so we didn't make him suffer very long.
He also got a Star Wars Lego Set...Taylee got a "Boom Box" for her room...
and the twins got these easels with marker board and chalk board. They LOVE them!
For our Birch Christmas party this year, we went up to Cokeville for New Year's Eve. These are pix of MOST of the grandkids out in the field behind my sister's house, being pulled on sleds behind the 4wheelers. They were out there for hours!
Caleb
Cole and Karly (in the blue and pink coat), my dad on the 4wheeler, Caleb getting on the sled in the back.
This is Zoe, Ali, and Taylee on one sled.
This is my 4 kids plus Antheny (cousin). They had up to 8 kids in this thing at times!
We had a great time, and I just love spending time with my family! It's wall to wall bodies sometimes when all 40 of us are in one location, but the more, the MERRIER!
On the way back to Kaysville, we stopped in Henefer and met Cole's family there to go sledding up by his Grandpa's house. I even went down the hill once with Cole! This is Taylee after she fell off, her sled kept going without her!
Jaxton, Taylee, Mindi, and Greg hiking up to go again!
Karly
Caleb getting snow in his face!
Cole, Jeremy, and Great Grandpa Stephens (Cole's Grandpa- age 96).
Again, we had a blast! My kids would do this every day, if I let them! I just love Cole's family, too. They're great people!
I'm so grateful for my testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know my Savior lives and loves us. With tough times and challenges in our lives and the lives around us, I'm grateful to know where I can turn for peace and comfort. I truly hope we all have a great 2010, and may we all reach out and serve those around us to make their New Year great, too!
